SchoolFront includes a variety of options for communicating with users:

• Notifications (Administrators & Admissions)
  Instantly generate emails or print materials from standard communication templates personalized with user information.
   
• Mail-merge (Teachers Configure)
  Teachers can create and print personalized letters for the parents of one or more students in a course.

• Announcements (Administrators Configure)
  Post user-targeted announcements on the SchoolFront home screens of staff, family members, and students.

• School Calendar (Administrators Configure)
  Advertise upcoming events, holidays, and reminders and prevent staff from logging attendance on holidays.
   
• Proactive Alerts (Parents Configure)
  Parents can opt-in for alerts when their student receives above or below a specific grade and when their student is absent from class (unless disabled by an administrator).
