Managing Categories of Grades in SchoolFront
After and administrator user or teacher has added classes to the system, grade categories must be defined for each class before teachers can add assignments to the system for tracking and grading purposes.
Grade Categories represent groups of Graded Items and can be weighted differently to affect the grade calculation. An example would be that you want to weight tests more heavily than homework.
