You can take attendance from the Teacher Daily Planner. This is optimized for a one screen view of everything you need to do at the beginning of a class. You can take the attendance and assign/collect assignments. You can also take attendance from the Seating Charts. This is useful in the beginning of the school year when you may not know the names of your students, or if you have a substitute teacher. You can also take attendance from the attendance section. Here you can see the classes attendance for an entire marking period. This is useful if you are making mass edits or if you were in a room that did not have access to a computer and you are transposing written content to SchoolFrontSM.
