Include / Exclude Optional Information from User Profiles
There is some information in user profiles that is optional. Customers ask that they be able to hide optional profile fields that are of no value to them, such as hiding "Employer Information" from the student profile. Some schools need to track student employer information, particularly if students are employed for internship credit toward a technical diploma and other schools have no need for this information.
This is an example of optional profile information that can be hidden. The development team will be adding more fields to this list in the future.
Applicable System Roles
System users with the following roles can do this:
Include / Exclude Student Profile Information Fields
1. Log into SchoolFront as an Administrator user.
2. In the left navigation bar, place your mouse on Feature Administration, then Feature Administration page will appear.
3. In the Students section, click Student Columns.
4. Uncheck any checkboxes beside fields you wish to hide.
5. Click the Save button.
