Import Incidents

Import or Export Disciplinary Incidents Using Excel®

If you want to import several disciplinary incidents into the system at once or to export incidents for reporting or printing purposes, you can do so using Microsoft Excel®.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Import Student Disciplinary Incidents

1. Login as an administrator.

2. Place your cursor over Discipline in the left navigation menu. A sub-menu will appear.

3. Select Export/Import Incidents from the sub-menu. The Discipline Export/Import page will open.

4. Click the Excel icon to download a blank spreadsheet.

5. Save the spreadsheet to your desktop or another location where it is easy for you to locate.

6. Fill in the spreadsheet and save it.

7. Click the Browse button.

8. Locate the spreadsheet file you saved and open it.

9. Click the Preview Import button.

10. Review the content to be sure that it looks correct. If it does not look correct, click the cancel button and re-edit the spreadsheet to make the content correct.

11. If it looks correct click the import button.

12. Incidents will be created in the system using the information you put into the spreadsheet.

11. You can view the incidents you created now.

Export Student Disciplinary Incidents


1. Login as an administrator.

2. Place your cursor over Discipline in the left navigation menu. A sub-menu will appear.

3. Select View Incidents from the sub-menu. The Discipline Management page will open.

4. Use the grid column sorting function and filters to reduce the displayed disciplinary records to only those that you wish to export.

5. Once you have the incident(s) that you want to export in the grid, click the Excel icon.

6. Save the file to your desktop or other location where it is easy for you to locate it.

7. Open the file. The incidents have been exported to Excel where you can further manipulate them or print them.
